Dear Mr. Lawyer:
This letter is in regard to the deficiencies noted in the Laurinburg-Maxton Airport's Stormwater
Pollution Prevention Plan dated January 27, 2020. Upon review of the noted deficiencies, the
Laurinburg-Maxton Airport Commission is prepared to implement the following procedures to
ensure these deficiencies will be resolved immediately.
• Task 1: Superintendent Oxendine will ensure that the Laurinburg-Maxton Airport's r
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan is certified every five years.
• Task 3: Superintendent Oxendine will undergo the appropriate training annually to
remain current in all Stormwater Pollution Prevention Procedures.
• Task 5: Superintendent Oxendine will conduct a site inspection semi-annually to
maintain compliance.
• Task 9: Superintendent Oxendine will complete and certify the Non-stormwater
Discharge Assessment annually.
• Task 13: Superintendent Oxendine will complete the Spill Response/Notification Form
annually in compliance with the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.
This implementation of procedures will help prevent the Laurinburg-Maxton Airport from being
noted as "deficient"in these areas in the future.
