As per NCDOT's 2016 Drainage Guidelines, there are no proposed deck drains located directly over the river. Since the height of the deck drains over the floodplain is approximately 25 feet, the natural air movement will disperse the water enough for it to be considered diffused flow when it reaches the ground surface below." I cannot determine from the plans and the Stormwater Management Plan (SWP) only states that it will be minimized. Please provide more detail. Thanks.
