III. Certification Statement:
I Jeff Theberge, CFPUA Eng. Mgr certify to the best of my knowledge that the addition of
the volume of wastewater to be permitted in this project has been evaluated along the route to the receiving
wastewater treatment facility and that the flow from this project is not anticipated to cause any capacity
related sanitary sewer overflows or overburden any downstream pump station en route to the receiving
treatment plant under normal circumstances, given the implementation of the planned improvements
identified in the planning assessment where applicable. This analysis has been performed in accordance
with local established policies and procedures using the best available data. This certification applies to
those items listed above in Sections I and II plus all attached planning assessment addendums for which I
am the responsible party. Signature of this form certifies that the receiving collection system or treatment
works has adequate capacity to transport and treat the proposed new wastewater.

PLANNING ASSESSMENT ADDENDUM (PAA)
Submit a planning assessment addendum for each pump station listed in Section If where Available Capacity is <
0.
Pump Station (Name or Number):
Given that:
a. The proportion and amount of Obligated, Not Yet Tributary Daily Flow (C) accounts for
47% total flow % and 0.774 MGD of the Available Capacity (E) in Pump Station
69 ; and that
b. The rate of activation of this obligated, not yet tributary capacity is currently approximately
MGD per year; and that
c. A funded Capital Project that will provide the required planned capacity, namely
Motts Creek PS Upgrade is in design or under construction with
planned completion in TBD ; and/or
d. The following applies:
The Trinity Landing pump station (TRN) will be constructed as part of this project.
The pump station must be constructed, certified, and activated prior to activation of the
project's sewer.
Therefore:
Given reasonably expected conditions and planning information, there is sufficient justification to allow
this flow to be permitted, without a significant likelihood of over -allocating capacity in the system
infrastructure.
I understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143-
215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of the capacity of the waste disposal
system.

SEWER SYSTEM:
This public onsite gravity system is designed to service the Trinity Landing Development
located at 4915 Masonboro Loop Road in Wilmington, NC. The new system consists of
208 Units (1 and 2 Bedrooms) @ 240 GPD / Unit and a 265-seat restaurant, one (1)
onsite pool, and one (1) clubhouse. A total of 3,662 LF of 8-inch Public sewer line and
332 LF of 8-inch Private sewer line will be needed to complete the system. This new
system will require a pump station. It will connect into an existing manhole in an
existing public utility easement owned by the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority. The
new pump station is being permitted along with the Public Permit (WQ0040985)
This system will be served by the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority.
PUMP STATION:
This public onsite Pump Station and Force Main is designed to service the Trinity
Landing Development located at 5200 Masonboro Loop Road in Wilmington, NC. The
new system consists of 208 Units (1 and 2 Bedrooms) @ 240 GPD / Unit, a 265-seat
restaurant, one on -site Pool and one Clubhouse. The gravity sections of this
development have already been permitted as Dry Systems (one Public and one Privat).
Both the public and private permits are being modified as required to include flow into
this pump station. This new pump station includes a total flow of 66,610 GPD. The
proposed pumps are ABS Sulzer Submersible Pumps, 7.5 HP and 1760 RPM. The
design condition operates the pump at 224 gpm @ 49' TDH. The outfall of the pump
station is within the Coronado Drive right-of-way in the Masonboro Woods Subdivision.
The total length of 6-inch force main to be permitted is 4,538 LF. This pump station is
being included in the modification of the Trinity Landing Public Permit WQ009085.
