PART IV - EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Proper signs for notification in the event of a problem should be installed at the pump
stations associated with this plant's collection system. There are significant indications of
poor collection system infrastructure. A municipal collection system line is within 300 feet
of this facility. It is recommended that this facility connect to the municipal collection
system. The wastewater treatment plant is in very poor physical condition with rusted
walking grates and damaged security fencing. It is located in a very low area and is
subject to flooding. This office recommends renewal of the permit but also recommends
that the facility owner address the condition of the collection system and the WWTP
facility's physical condition.
