Highway 12, adjacent to Currituck Sound, in Corolla, Currituck County, North Carolina. The information requested was provided but found to be inadequate. On August 29, 2006, a meeting was held on the proposed project site with representatives from the Army Corps of Engineers, several consultants, and the surveyor/engineer of record, to discuss inconsistencies with regard to the actual project area, proposed impacts and ownership of the affected properties. At this meeting, we again requested that you submit the specific information referenced in our July 14, 2006 correspondence as well as submit additional information concerning this project. To date, we have not received any of the requested information. Please inform us regarding your intentions. If we do not hear from you within ten days of your receipt of this letter, we will assume that you no longer wish to pursue Federal authorization at this time, and your application file will be retired. As discussed, you may reapply once you have compiled all the necessary information. Any work performed in an area of our regulatory jurisdiction without DA authorization would be a violation of Federal law. Thank you for your time and cooperation.
