Dear Mr. and Ms. Maringer:
The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has performed a preliminary review of a 401 Water Quality Certification
application submitted for the above referenced project. Additional information will be required in order to
complete the review process.
Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
Please provide a completed sketch using the attached template, which indicates the dimensions
of the riprap to be installed.
2. Please provide pictures of the shoreline indicated to be in need of repair.
3. Riprap placement will be required as described in the US Army Corps of Engineers General
(Regional) Permit 198200030:
Riprap will be placed at the base of all bulkheads and will extend a maximum of three (3)
feet waterward on a 2:1 slope. All other fill material will be confined landward of
bulkheads.
Please plan your project accordingly.
Please provide your response in writing to the addresses below by December 31, 2009. One (1) copy of the
required information should be provided to the 401 Permitting Unit at:
