Attached is a revised site plan for the Dante Martin Vet Clinic. Dr. Martin has recently modified the plan to
include slightly larger structure (now 4,488 sf) and a drive-thru window for the pick up of veterinarian
medications, which has become an increasingly requested option for clients. Adding a drive-thru window
required widening the access way in one section to 36 feet (two lanes). Because of the presence of the
billboards, the building was moved to the northwest and the driveway was moved to the northeast side of the
tract. Also note that the turn around area has been modified from a cul-de-sac to a hammer -head configuration.
This better accommodated the need for additional parking spaces (total of 18 spaces provided). The back-up
and turn around area is required by Appendix D of the 2018 International Fire Code which requires a provision

for turning around emergency vehicles in parking lots longer than 150'. A turn around area that has a length of
49 feet is required, which is depicted on the plan. The revised site plan slightly increases the wetland impacts
(from 0.16 acre to 0.17 acre), which is needed to provide a safer layout.

turn -around. It will also be used for overflow parking and dumpster pad location, so the engineer is going to
revise the drawing to clearly show that.
