Paul,
I can't find where I responded in writing to this request - I apologize. As discussed, DWR will not require a modification
of the 401 for the realignment of the culvert at Site 4. The revised plan drawings you submitted are sufficient for our
files. Thanks.

Paul,
I received the information that you submitted on February 4, 2020 regarding the need to realign the culvert at Site 4 on
the R-2582a project in Northampton County. The need to realign the culvert became evident during last week's site
inspection. The plans and the project modification request you submitted on the 4th provide the pertinent information
needed for the file.
NCDOT can move forward with realigning the culvert in the new location as depicted on the submitted plans. I will add
this email and a Memorandum for the Record to the project file indicating these changes. You may use this
correspondence as authorization to proceed with those changes. Please let me know if you have any additional
questions.
