Explain the purpose of the proposed project:* The purpose of this proposed project is to remove accumulated sediment within the open channel located in Beaumont Park (east of Wayne Drive) which is impeding flow and causing flooding issues within the park. 41. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used:* The proposed project would remove sediment down to the elevation of the invert of a 30" pipe coming from Mercer Ave. into the park to the invert of the culvert going under Wayne Drive (see attached soils map). Approximately 255 linear feet of channel would be impacted. No enlargement of the channel would occur. The removed sediment and any vegetative debris would be disposed of at the City of Wilmington's Operation Complex located off of River Road. Equipment proposed for removal would include a Cat 323 Excavator and (2) 20 cy Dump Trucks. 4j. Please upload project drawings for the proposed project. 5. Jurisdictional Determinations 5a.
