In response to your Notice of Violation March 10, 2020 the Town of Vanceboro strives to
maintain compliance with all permit requirements.
Nitrogen, Total — Quantity (Yearly) - Annual Monitor Frequency Violation.
In preparing our December 2019 Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR), we failed to enter the
total Nitrogen for our annual totals. This was an oversight on our part and we have made
preparations to avoid this happening at the end of the year for 2020. We have enclosed a copy
of the effluent page which shows the correction and it has been submitted through the NC
EDMR reporting site.
