This project is to provide a connector road between US64 and US64/FMy276 through the mixed use Davidson River Village redevelopment. This specific modification request is to
provide the connection of Davidson River Village to US64/Mroy276 by way of a two lane roundabout.

The project has been modified to replace the designed signaled intersection at US 276/64 with a two-lane round -about. The construction of the round -about vdll impact two streams vnth
no impact to wetlands. The attached plan sheet accurately depicts streams in the project footprint. Work will involve clearing and grading a forested and field area totaling less than 0.5
acre. The project area is in the Davidson River Watershed, Mich is classified as B, and a tributary to the French Broad River, which supports Appalachian elktoe mussels, so erosion
controls will be very important with this project.

This modification request is to authorize stream impacts in association with the construction of a roundabout (in place of the previously designed signaled intersection) and the
construction of a sidewalk along eAsting roadway. Typical land grading and paving equipment Will be utilized.

The original project permitted to Davidson River Partners, LLC did not require compensatory mitigation. We believe that the proposed Nationwide 14 for the round -about work also
should not require compensatory mitigation as the combined permanent impacts associated with channel loss or degradation for the new impacts are only 46 feet.
