At this point, I understand if protocols related to COVID-19 are probably preventing any in office work. I would like to ask that you please extend the professional courtesy of at least acknowledging receipt of the proposed landscape plan for the East & Mason historic overlay area. Our permits with the USACOE are dependent on the timing of your review and approval. No response from either of you is peculiar, and I am wondering if you are not receiving these emails. I would like to ask others copied on this message to acknowledge receipt. Perhaps I am getting directed into junk folders. We shared what we agreed to do with the State, and agreed to include the City with all correspondence in parallel with the State's review of our proposed landscaping plan (attached). The intent is that we will receive comments from both agencies, incorporate what is not in conflict, resolve what is in conflict, and then edit/submit a final plan for approval from both agencies. The plan attached was discussed with Dawn and Beth. We made some minor tweaks to make it clearer to understand. You will notice the plan shows the installation of the 10 ft. asphalt path along Masonboro Sound Rd. This is a requirement by the City of Wilmington, but I shared that the State would like this section of the path to be narrower. If the State still maintains this position, we will need to coordinate a call with the City and State to resolve this issue. I would like to ask both agencies to provide comments back to us before the end of March. This will enable us to keep the process moving so that approvals from USACOE do not hold up the project. Please confirm that this timeframe for first comments works with your schedule/workload. I look forward to working with you both, and appreciate your input and assistance with this exercise.
