The CoC has not been renewed since 2002. There are 9 unpaid annual fees. We should make the CoC inactive, and notify the Mitchell County Health Department. Mr. Stewart's unwillingness to respond to our outreach, combined with the abandoned condition of the site, have removed any justification for the discharge. Let me know what you & Landon want to do. I don't know what to do with this one; I have tried to get this one worked out to no avail. I was not able to get ahold of Mr. Stewart directly, instead I was contacted by Sandra Buchanan. She stated she was his daughter and would take ownership of that property and was wanting to remodel it and open a salon again. I think it was the local health dept folks and/or building inspector got me in touch with her, I'd need to go back through my phone logs to verify that but I am at home now teleworking for safety. Anyhow, I told the local agencies they needed to contact us before they issue any Certificate of Occupancy. However, any future correspondence for this site needs to be cc'd to the LHD and Building Permitting folks. I just checked and Mr. Stewart is still listed owner of that property on the Mitchell County GIS. Refer to my last inspection summary notes from 2018 in BIMs to fill in the gaps here. Since that inspection summary in BIMS, I have tried to get them to do a change of ownership, pay fees and meet me onsite for an inspection to no avail. Below is my last attempt to reach out to the lady that said she is Mr. Stewarts daughter, Sandra Buchanan. One last thing, I did go by this site in 2019. There was no occupancy or business at the site, it was quite a mess with stuff laying around, I attempted to walk around to see if I could find components but could not due to the stuff and safety issues. This was also the case in the 2007 inspection by Larry Frost apparently. The 2008 inspection has nothing in it, may have been planning an inspection but did go? The 2010 inspection offer some insight from Keith Haynes, but appears to be non -compliant still. The 2012 reiterates items in 2010. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thanks. I understand you are working on your shop as time and funds allow, please keep me posted on your progress as I need to meet onsite with you prior to opening. Our database still shows the permit listed in Boyd Stewarts name and overdue fees. Raleigh is in the process of renewing these permits; you need to take care of these items so you don't lose coverage under this permit. ra The contact info to pay the overdue fees is Teresa Revis at 919-807-6316. Teresa can help you with the overdue fees but not the change of ownership. The attached form needs to be filled out and mailed in if you are the owner of this property and wastewater system now. Let me know if you have any questions.
