The Town of Old Fort has successfully completed the required activities established by the Division's Pretreatment, Emergency Response and Collection Systems (PERCS) Unit for the development of a Division of Water Resources approved Pretreatment Program. With consideration of the successful completion of the required activities, the Pretreatment Program for the Town of Old Fort is approved as of March 23, 2020. Your NPDES permit contains pretreatment program requirements in Part IV (Special Conditions for Municipal Facilities) under Section D (Pretreatment Programs) that are an important and enforceable part of your Delegated Pretreatment Program. The Town of Old Fort's Pretreatment Program is considered to be a Modified Pretreatment Program. Modified Pretreatment Programs must send in a Pretreatment Annual Report (PAR) or call to schedule a meeting with the Division's Pretreatment Staff by March Is' of every year. The compliance status for each industrial user must be judged for each six-month period (January 1—June 30 and July 1— December 31), and appropriate enforcement actions initiated in accordance with the Enforcement Response Plan approved by the Division. Guidance on Pretreatment Program elements may be found in the Comprehensive Guide and on the PERCS website. Please submit the documentations of the Sewer Use Ordinance council adoption no later than May 31, 2020. Please start the short term monitoring the second quarter of 2020 and update the site specific HWA by June 1, 2021. The due date for IWS is June 1, 2024.
