I hope you are doing well, I am writing you this letter in regards to our notice of violation. (Tracking Number
NOV-2019-PC-0504). Permit Number NC0021229.
The clarifiers that we have are in very much needed repair, this is just one of our huge issues that we are
having difficulty in financing. The Walker Clarifiers are basically need replacing everything inside the weir
and everything below the bridges. The contract W62263 with a Mike Fowler. Getting parts and finding
someone to do the labor has been very time consuming. We also were hoping to have three bids, but so far at
this time we only have one. We would also like for the State to give us some more time to either draw funding
from general fund or see another way to finance this project. Applying for grants is not moving fast enough as
you can imagine.
Please respond back to me, Tony West, or Renee Taylor on suggestions. We will be discussing this in our
August town meeting.
