Dear Mr. Myers:
The Wilmington Regional Office would like to request the weekly recordings of freeboard of the
5-day upset pond, Infiltration Basin #1 and Infiltration Basin #2 for the Majestic Oaks WWTF
from January 2019 through February 2020. According to Section IV.6 of Permit WQ0030088:
Freeboard (i.e., waste level to the lowest embankment elevation) in the upset
pond and infiltration basins shall be measured to the nearest inch or tenth of
a foot, and recorded weekly. Weekly freeboard records shall be maintained at
the facility for a period of no less than five years, and shall be made available
to the Division upon request. [15A NCAC 02T .0108(c)]
Please submit these records to the Wilmington Regional Office within ten (10) business day
after receipt of this letter.
