As you are aware, we request double culverts being installed with a base flow culvert and then
a slightly elevated storm surge culvert (Mickey Mouse design).
The application didn't include the culvert details. It was more of a diagram. Please provide
the profile with culvert criteria/dimension/size

Good Morning Alan,
From the Civil — "The culvert crossing is double barrel 36" RCP's with a concrete
headwall. There is 18 acres, with a flow of 56 CFS, that runs through this crossing. The
velocity is over 7 FPS which requires outlet protection. "

What size/type culvert. Given the location of the culvert and drainage area upstream, is riprap

previously verified by the USACE (SAW 2020-00205). The hard copy is being sent in with payment to the NCDEQ-
