RE: SOF Special Tactics Squadron (STS) Operations Facilities
Fast Track Application for Gravity Sewer Extension
Cumberland County, North Carolina
•.ASUS
We are providing the enclosed information for the permitting of new sewer infrastructure for the SOF
STS Operations Facilities. A new 8-inch gravity sewer main and manholes will be installed to convey
wastewater from two new buildings located on the corner of Gena St, and Interceptor Rd. to the
downstream collection system. The 8-inch main will discharge into an existing manhole located south of
the intersection at Boxcar St. and Ethridge St. Two 6-inch sanitary sewer laterals (one each building) and
cleanouts will be installed to collect and discharge wastewater into the 8-inch main. The Special Tactics
Team (STT) Building is a separated business/storage facility with a maximum occupancy of 248 people;
the additional wastewater flow from this building is estimated to be 10,180 gallons per day. The Human
Performance Training Center (HPTC) is a non -separated business, assembly, and storage facility. The
business and storage area has a max occupancy of 24 people and the assembly area is an 8,760 square
foot fitness facility; the additional wastewater flow from this building is estimated to be 5,720 gallons
per day. The combined additional flow to the downstream sewer system is estimated to be 15,900
gallons per day.
