APRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH THE OWNER, ENGINEER AND NCDEQ SHALL BE HELDPRIOR TO THE START OF ANY WORK.2.FLAG WORK LIMITS BEFORE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY BEGINS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTPERFORM ANY CLEARING BEYOND THE LIMITS SHOWN ON THE PLANS. DO NOT INSTALL SILT FENCE ACROSS CHANNELS OR AREASOF CONCENTRATED FLOWS.6.ONCE PERIMETER EROSION CONTROL MEASURES ARE INSTALLED, PROCEED WITH SKIMMERSEDIMENT BASIN #1 (SCM #1) CONSTRUCTION, REFERENCING SCM #1 ON SHEET C2.2. INADDITION TO CONSTRUCTION OF THE BASIN, THE OUTLET STRUCTURE OF THE BASIN WITH THERESPECTIVE STORM DRAINAGE NETWORK AND PERMANENT SWALE SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED.SKIMMER SHALL BE INSTALLED UTILIZING THE ORFICE OPENING AS SHOWN ON SHEET C2.2.7.PROCEED WITH ROUGH GRADING OPERATIONS, ENSURING TO STABILIZE ALL COMPLETEDSLOPES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GROUND STABILIZATION TABLE FOR GROUNDCOVER ANDTHE SEEDING SPECIFICATIONS ON SHEET C5.6.8.ONCE ALL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES AND SKIMMER SEDIMENTATION BASIN #1 HAS BEENESTABLISHED, CONTRACTOR MAY PROCEED TO PHASE 2 EROSION CONTROL.9.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONDUCT SELF-INSPECTIONS OF THE EROSION AND SEDIMENTATIONCONTROL MEASURES AND COMPETE THE FOLLOWING COMBINED SELF-INSPECTION FORMFOUND ON THE DEMLR WEBSITE: HTTPS://FILES.NC.GOV/NCDEQ/ENERGY%20MINERAL%20AND%20LAND%20RESOURCES/STORMWATER/NPDES%20GENERAL%20PERMITS/DEMLR-MONITORING-FORM-REV-AUGUST-8-2019.PDF TWELVE MONTHS OF COMPLETE INSPECTION FORMS SHALLALWAYS BE KEPT ON-SITE AND AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION.10.SELF-INSPECTIONS FOR EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL MEASURES ARE TO BEPERFORMED AT LEAST ONCE EVERY SEVEN CALENDAR DAYS AND WITHIN 24 HOURS OF EVERYRAIN EVENT OF GREATER THAN 1 INCH. ANY NEEDED REPAIRS SHALL BE MADE IMMEDIATELYTO MAINTAIN MEASURES AS DESIGNED. ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROLMEASURES SHALL BE MAINTAINED AS SPECIFIED IN THE DETAILS ON THIS PLAN. A RAIN GAUGESHALL BE INSTALLED AT THE PROJECT SITE FOR MONITORING.CONSTRUCTION WITHIN WETLANDS NOTES1.VEGETATION REMOVAL SHALL BE LIMITED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND STAYWITHIN THE LIMITS OF DISTURBANCE. IN ADDITION, ALL TREE AND SHRUBCLEARING SHALL BE LIMITED TO CUTS AT OR ABOVE GROUND LEVEL. THERESHALL BE NO ROOT BALL REMOVAL OR GURBBING WITHIN THE WETLANDAREAS.2.TIMBER MATS, OR OTHER APPROVED PROTECTIVE MATTING SHALL BEPLACED PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT OPERATING WITHINWETLAND LIMITS.3.WORK WITHIN THE WETLANDS IS PROHIBITED DURING WET CONDITIONS.4.POST-CONSTRUCTION THE TEMPORARY IMPACTED WETLAND AREAS SHALLBE RETURNED TO ORIGINAL CONDITIONS AND SEEDED WITH NATIVEEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA WETLAND SEED MIX.
