I received your notice of violation on permit No. WQ0036327 regarding the late/missing well samples.
Our waste water treatment system was built by Hugh Shannon, Reuse Innovations Inc, 71 Ledford Drive,
Franklin, NC 28734. He has been my contact regarding all communications on everything including that
he contacted Alpha Environmental to complete the well samples. I apologize that we missed getting the
required well samples for the permit. I've been relying on Hugh to handle everything.
The expense of well testing has been costing us about $9,000 per year since June 2013 and the current
waste water treatment system has never put any treated water into the ground because we don't
generate enough for the system.
Reuse Innovations applied for a pump and haul permit and now we have switched the system over to a
sub -surface type system. I have sent money to Reuse Innovations for the new permit and %: of the cost
to build the sub -surface system.
Our new system should be complete in June 2019. How do we handle testing going forward?
