Dear Permittee:
On 1/16/2019, DWR staff conducted a complaint investigation at the Owen Farm, Inc. facility and
found that the facility was in noncompliance with Section II.5. of subject permit.
As a result of this incident, you are hereby notified that, having been permitted to have a
non -discharge permit for the subject animal waste management system pursuant to 15A NCAC 2T
.1304, you have been found to be in violation of your CAWMP and the Swine Waste System General
Permit No. AWG100000 as follows:

II.S. Land application rate resulted in excessive ponding
You are required to provide a written response within 30 days of receipt of this Notice.
Please include in your response all corrective actions already taken and a schedule for completion of
any corrective actions not addressed.
