Development of the area requires the installation of approximately 7,770 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sewer force main to be extended from an existing Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) 8-inch sewer force main off Point Harbor Road (SR 2142). There is no flow being applied for at this time. The first phase of the project is to entitle the property with sewer infrastructure sized based upon planned and probable development activities on site. Once site -final designs are complete, sewer allocation and infrastructure will be applied for at the time based upon the specific site plan and demands for the development. The downstream wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) is the James A. Loughlin NSWWTF (NC 0023965) which is owned and operated by the CFPUA. The proposed sewer force main will connect to an existing CFPUA 8-inch sewer force main under permit W00039283. Included with this submittal are provided below.
