Notes:
Crabtree Creek is a large perennial stream that flows through a valley which has
been confined due to development. Recent rainfall has left the creek high and
turbid, obscuring channel features and biology. Crabtree Creek is known to
support various fish populations.

'perennial streams may also be identified using other methods. See p. 35 of manual.
Notes:
House Creek is a large perennial channel that parallels Blue Ridge Road
through much of the corridor. House Creek is relatively shallow through much of
the reach and the substrate is composed of large cobbles and rocks. House
Creek appears to flood frequently upstream of the Blue Ridge Road crossing.
