This letter informed you that the project was incomplete and was being placed on hold until the additional information outlined in the letter was supplied. To date, we have not received this additional information. Unless we hear from you in writing within 3 weeks of the receipt of this letter, we will consider that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will retire the file and consider the application as withdrawn. Please be aware that reapplication for this project will require a Certification fee and new applications. Based on the information provided, it is unlikely that DWQ would approve the extension of Alphawood Drive to meet Truelove Drive since it would result in an avoidable crossing of the stream and associated buffer. At this meeting, you, Steve Mitchell and I met to discuss a suggested crossing of a Neuse River Riparian Buffer subject stream. A variance was requested for a proposed subdivision to allow cul-de- sacs to be extended beyond 1000' into the subdivision. Before approval can be granted, the Wake County Planning Board asked if the access drive (Alphawood Drive) could be extended to Truelove Drive to provide interconnectivity. You, Mr. Mitchell, and I met to examine the possibility of crossing the Neuse River Buffer and subject stream. I have enclosed the two options, presented at our meeting, for crossing; as well as, the original plan not to cross. Please examine the drawings and inform me of which option you will support.
