Dear Mr. Heim,
On behalf of Western Carolina University, we are requesting your review and approval of the
attached Sewer Extension Application for the subject project. The proposed project consists of,
relocation of existing sewer and installation of new sewer to serve the proposed residence halls
consisting of 933 total dwelling units in three (3) buildings, located at 159 University Way, in
Cullowhee, NC with a peak design flow of 62,760 GPD. This project results in an overall
reduction in flows as the proposed residence halls will replace the existing Scott and Walker
residence halls.
