You have our approval, in accordance with the attached vor>r1tions, to 0.06 acres of Lake Norman and 945 square feet of
riparian buffer for the purpose of stabilizing a shoreline on Lot'33, ftnac3e Stxres subdivision, Phase 3, Iredell County as described in
your application received November 29, 2001. After reviewing your app6caaor4 we have decided that this fill is covered by General Water
Quality Certification Number 3280, which can be downloaded ftrm our web 5de at ht3nJ/h2o.enr.state.nc.us/ncwetlands. This Certification
allows you to use Regional Permit Number 198200030 when the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) issues it. This letter shall also
ad as your approved Authorization Certificate for impacts to tl - pnitected fpatian buffers as required under 15A NCAC 26 .0243(8). In
addition, you should get any other federal, state or local permft "bore you go ahead with your project including (but not limited to)

The following is an abbreviated application form for those applying for a 401 Water
Quality Certification to impact FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission)
regulated lake shore or bottom under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Permit
GP30. This Application cannot be used for wetland or stream impacts. Please
provide seven (7) copies of this application and supporting information as well as a
non-refundable application fee to the Division of Water Quality of $200.00 for
impacts of to lake bottom of less than 1 acre and $475.00 for impacts to lake bottom
of greater or equal to 1 acre.

Install approximately 105 linear foot keystone block seawall at the mean high pool elevation
(760' contour) of Lake Norman to prevent shoreline erosion.

accomplished in strict accordance with the attached conditions and your submitted plans. If your activity
is subject to Section 404 (if Section 404 block above is checked), before beginning work you must also
receive a Section 401 water quality certification from the N.C. Division of Environmental Management,
telephone (919) 733-1786. For any activity within the twenty coastal counties, before beginning work you
must contact the N.C. Division of Coastal Management, telephone (919)733-2293.
Please read and carefully comply with the attached conditions of the RGP or NWP. Any violation of the
conditions of the RGP or the NWP referenced above may subject the permittee to a stop work order, a
restoration order, and/or appropriate legal action.
This Department of the Army RGP or NWP verification does not relieve the permittee of the responsibility
to obtain any other required Federal, State, or local approvals/permits. The permittee may need to contact
appropriate State and local agencies before beginning work.

(TVA) IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA.
These lakes and reservoirs were constructed and exist primarily for the purposes of generating
hydroelectric power and/or providing water supply. They were constructed and operated by
public utility companies or under laws and regulations administered by the Tennessee Valley
Authority (TVA). Activities within these waters are the primary concern of, and should be
regulated by, these parties. This general permit applies to all waters on or within lands owned or
under flowage easement to public utility companies and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).
