In accordance with your permit renewal request received October 3, 2019, and subsequent
additional information received December 19, 2019, we are forwarding herewith Permit No. WQ0002431
dated March 2, 2020, to the Huffinan Finishing Company, Inc. for the continued operation of the subject
residuals management program.
This permit shall be effective from the date of issuance through March 31, 2026, shall void Permit
No. WQ0002431 issued April 13, 2015, and shall be subject to the conditions and limitations as specified
therein. The Permittee shall submit a renewal application no later than October 2, 2025.
Please pay particular attention to the monitoring requirements listed in Attachment A for they may
differ from the previous permit issuance. Failure to establish an adequate system for collecting and
maintaining the required operational information shall result in future compliance problems.
Please note that on September 1, 2018, North Carolina Administrative Code Title 15A Subchapter
02T — Waste not Discharged to Surface Waters was readopted. Accordingly, this permit incorporates the
requirements of these rules, therefore, please take the time to review this permit thoroughly.
The Division has removed the following permit conditions since the last permit issuance dated
April 13, 2015:
➢ Old Condition I.2. — This condition has been removed as it has been met.
➢ Old Condition I.3. — This condition has been removed as it has been met.
➢ Old Condition III.13. — This condition has been removed.
➢ Old Condition VI.2. — This condition has been removed as the permit is not voidable.
