On November 15, 2001, I-you may want to say Orange County ESC staff met with you to conduct an on-site determination to
review several (what you reviewed will obviously change) drainage features on the subject property for applicability to the Net},e
u:..e. R..fF . D..toS r 15A NC AC 2u 0233(4v "reference Orange County's Ordinance. As a result of this on-site determination the
"we" or Orange County ESC Staffhas determined that features "A", "F" and "G IL-on" on the
attached maps (see attached USGS & Soil maps initialed by the undersigned on 11/16/01) contain at least an intermittent stream
subject to the Neuse Buffer Rules (North Carolina Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233). It was also determined that features "B",
"C", "D", "E" and "H" are ephemeral drainages and do not contain surface waters subject to the Neuse Buffer Rules. You'll
obviously have to adjust the previous two sentences toot the site.)
This letter only addresses the applicability to the buffer rules and does not approve any activity within the buffers. Please be
aware that even if no direct impacts are proposed to the protected buffers, diffuse flow of all stormwater as per 15A NEAGH
:923re erence Orange County's Ordinance is required. If you have any additional questions or require additional information you

site. I copied Ren just in case.
Attached is a draft determination letter for Mr. Crabtree's property and
a USGS map.
Feel free to use your own USGS map.
I would also recommend that you attach a Soil Survey.
Make all changes and additions that you feel needed.
Just be sure to reference your ordinance constantly and use the
terminology within the rule (i.e., on-site determinations, surface
waters, etc.)
Also, be sure to always address a specific map and label the map
appropriately.
