This project includes the removal of an old concrete boat ramp that has become a hazard and it is no longer in use at the Campground. We propose removing all concrete from this 110' x 30' area and repairing the area back to your specifications and Duke Energy. We have met with the local Fish and Wildlife and since they have two new boat ramps on the lake, they have agreed for this one to be removed. We are very concerned and would like for this project to move forward quickly as this has became increasing more and more of a hazard to the public. Enclosed you will find pictures of the site and a basic sketch of the area. Please contact me as you schedule a site visit as the park is currently closed for the season and we will have to let you in. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at the following: RECREATION AND PARKS DEPARTMENT 88 CULLOWHEE MTN.
