Dear Permittee:
On February 21, 2020, staff of the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR), Water Quality
Regional Operations Section (WQROS), were notified of a high freeboard level at your facility.
The lagoon/storage pond freeboard was documented at 23 inches. In accordance with the
facility's Non -Discharge Permit WQ0023310, condition II1.13, freeboard shall not be less than 2
feet (24 inches) at any time.
Please be aware that non-compliance with your permit could result in enforcement action by the
Division of Water Resources for these and any additional violations of State law. You are
required to take any necessary action to address the above violation. Please notify the DWR once
corrective actions have been taken and the facility is back in compliance with Permit
WQ0023311.
