Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to ELort.spam@nc.gov Hey Alan, I've attached a figure depicting the buffer around the creek and sewer line. The entire permanent easement is in the buffer zone. See the table below for the numbers. Also, construction entrances will be per the main roads around the alignment, mainly Joli Cheval Lane and Hollow Oaks Drive. Let us know if you have any questions. ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Omar.Khan(a-),2hd.com <Omar.Khankghd.com> Date: Tue, Feb 18, 2020 at 3:43 PM Subject: RE: Stevens Creek To: Dan Zurlo <dangcws-inc.net>, Savannah Green <Savannah.Tilleykghd.com> Dan, I believe Alan wants a bit of a clarification regarding the buffer impacts. Earlier this week, Savannah and I spoke with Paul Wojoski (NCDEQ) and we provided him these numbers. He was going to update his file on his end. I believe Alan may be looking for this information as well since they both work closely together. Please advise if you need anything else. I believe there is a typo in the map. The wetland impact area of'0.19' ac. should be 0.019 ac. I can fix and send this to Alan, but I want to make sure the numbers are correct. You should tell Charlotte Water to fix their this in their variance request as well. On Tue, Feb 18, 2020 at 3:11 PM Savannah Green <Savannah. After reading the email chain, it looks like Alan is wanting to see a map like the one that I have attached to this email which is the one that was used for Goose Creek Variance for Phase 2. Was he not provided with this impacts map initially? Let me know if this document is what you are looking for. Hi Omar— Provided the plans, it appears that construction access would be through the main roads like in Phase 1. Is that the same scenario for Phase 2? GHD provided the numbers for the buffer mitigation. Do you have the figures Alan is requesting? I know that Charlotte Water is applying for a buffer variance. Do they have these figures? If not, I can create them. Also, to Alan's point about construction access through the buffer, I assume that because there are so many roads that you would just use them to access the corridor. But let me know if there are plans to construct other access points. -Dan Zurlo ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Johnson, Alan <alan.johnson o,ncdenr.gov> Date: Tue, Feb 18, 2020 at 8:49 AM Subject: Stevens Creek To: Dan Zurlo <dan@cws-inc.net> So I see mitigation (for the goose creek buffer) is planned for the line. A better diagram identifying the goose creek buffer would be helpful. I assume the entirety of the line is within 50 ft of top of bank? If so that clarifies the issue. There is 200 ft goose creek buffer on both sides of the stream. Clarification is needed for access through the buffer, temporary and permanent impacts. Restoration of temporary cleared areas, etc. The applicant went through this last time, so they should have their previous material to provide a foot print. If access and construction is from point a to point b, in a combined single line, that should make it simple.
