The swale that was listed on the SMP at Sta. 44+84LT to 46+50LT (Site 6) actually discharges into a wetland outside the buffer and does not discharge directly to the stream. It is fine to provide the information for that swale but I really need the information for the swales that are cut through the buffer and discharge to the stream. These are located at: • Sta. 43+53 to 45+00 RT (Site 6) • Sta. 36+40 to 43+50 RT (Site 6) • Sta. 31+75 to 36+00 RT (Site 5) The swale information insets on the permit drawings are helpful but do not include all the information that I need such as drainage area. Please update the swale page in the SMP to include these other swales. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions. We are including the following requested items with this email: • PJD Addendum to the "original" PJD package submittal on August 23, 2019 — this addendum covers additional area to the east of a double culvert on US 17 Business. • Revised Buffer Drawings with calculations for mitigable impacts at Site 5B due to the roadway fill in Zones 1 and 2. Wetland acreage was subtracted out from the buffer impacts for mitigation amounts. • Swale information/calculations for Site 5 are on the Permit Drawings (including the Stormwater Management Plan). These drawings were updated to show buffers along Site 5. Buffer Mitigation is Required Ms. Beth Harmon with Division of Mitigation Services has been contacted for the mitigation of riparian buffer impacts in Zones 1 and 2 due to roadway fill. On the Buffer Drawings -sheets 3 and 4, we have the following impacts: Zone 1 Zone 2 Site 5B 2,264 1,906 Wetlands at Site 5B 2,221 472 Difference 43 sq. ft 1,434 sq. ft. We are requesting Neuse River riparian buffer mitigation in HUC Unit 03020204 for Zone 1 totaling 43 sq. ft. and for Zone 2 totaling 1,434 sq. ft. A DMS commitment letter is pending.
