I searched my friend Laserfiche and discovered "last chance to renew" letters for both these sites from 2012 (see attached). If we did not receive responses to those letters, the permits would have been deactivated; I will check BIMS for indications of that tomorrow. (By the way, whenever you run across inactive permits, please check the 2010-2012 HISTORICAL files in Laserfiche for GPs. I'm working on splitting the letters up and filing in permit folders but haven't gotten the time yet. I found these by simply doing a text search for the permit numbers in General Permits main folder.) If this is what happened, and they still require a permit, they must apply for a new one. I don't know why else they would be inactive. If they were just not renewed, they would be sitting expired. I am onlyjust now getting into the "Inactive" permits. The last one turned out to be a mistake in Raleigh. I am going to plan on visiting these facilities tomorrow. It seems like they should have already obtained that permit by now, but their Draft SWMP says they will do that in year 1 of the next MS4 permit.
