Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): E)asting wooden seawall is L-shaped with ditch flow connecting in corner of "L". Erosion is causing the seawall to fail. Currently, there is rip rap below water level along the sea wall and the adjacent drainage ditch is also lined with rip rap. Appro)amately 10 linear ft needs to be repaired by stabilizing the wall and filling in soil that is eroded. Additional rip rap on ditch bank to enhance and prevent further erosion. Ditch flow will not be affected as work will be done when water level is ditch is stable and not flowing. Ditch typically is less than 12 inches deep and has little flow unless recent rain has occurred. 8. How will the work be done?* V From Land r From Water 9.
