Erwin 3060 Cedar Creek Drive Kernersville, NC 27284 NORTH CAROLINA Environmental Quality February 21, 2020 Subject: General Wastewater Permit Inspection 3060 Cedar Creek Drive Certificate of Coverage # NCG550099 Forsyth County Dear Sande and Patricia Erwin: On January 30, 2020, Gary Hudson of this office performed a Compliance Evaluation Inspection on the wastewater treatment system at 3060 Cedar Creek Drive in Kernersville, NC. Observations indicated that the subsurface sandfilter was operating properly. Although the discharge pipe was unable to be located, there was no evidence of a discharge, and no visible impacts to surface water. Please note some of the activities that must be conducted and documented, in addition to the laboratory analyses required if the system discharges: • Septic tanks shall be pumped out every three to five years, or when the solids level is found to be more than 1/3 of the liquid depth in in any compartment. • The tablet chlorinator shall be inspected weekly to ensure there is an adequate supply of tablets for continuous and adequate operation. There were no tablets in the chlorinator during the inspection. Be sure to order more tablets and replace them often enough to ensure continual disinfection. If you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact Gary Hudson at (336) 776-9694. cc: WSRO NorHC.Apl oewrtmam m o-omei oai Sincerely, DocuSigfned<by: mdcr 945B49E225C94EA...
