Raleigh, North Carolina 27699-1617 919.707.9000 Mr. Jerry West February 20, 2020 Page 2 of 2 A. Site Mao: 1. Note 2 on the right hand side of the site map submitted with the application indicates that there is a total of 38.74 acres that can be used as an area for reclaimed water reuse applications. This is different than the currently permitted 47.52 acres and is due to certain spray heads on the map labeled "Not Used" that are not currently available to be used as irrigation area. However, the hydraulic loading in the Non -Discharge Application Report (NDAR) forms is calculated by dividing the volume of water irrigated onto a field by the field area. If a field has spray heads that are "Not Used", then the hydraulic loading will be underreported because our reporting forms assume that the whole field is being utilized for irrigation. In order to ensure that hydraulic loading is being calculated correctly in our NDAR forms, the Permittee shall provide the reduced area for any field that has existing spray heads labelled as "Not Used". These acreages shall be shown alongside the permitted areas currently shown on the table on the right hand side of the map. These "Not Used" spray heads will not be completely removed from the permit, and may be converted to "Used" spray heads in the future upon notification of the Division. At least one paper copy and an electronic copy of an updated map shall be submitted as a response to this request. For security reasons, this electronic copy cannot be a CD, flash drive, or ZIP file. It may be sent electronically as a PDF file via the Non -Discharge Branch Upload/Submittal Form htt s://edocs.dt ...c. ov/Forms/NonDischar e-Branch-Submittal-Font, or via e-mail.
