RE: The Lane Construction Corporation NPDES Permits in North Carolina
Dear Ms. Thedford,
We write to notify North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water
Resources that, as announced on August 20, 2018, The Lane Construction Corporation
("Lane") has entered into an agreement to sell its Plants& Paving business to Eurovia SAS.
Eurovia SAS is a subsidiary of the VINCI Group and, through its United States subsidiaries,
Hubbard Construction Company and 13lvthe Construction, Inc„ one of the leading asphalt
producers in the southeast United States.
As a result of this acquisition, permits issued for Lane's Plants & Paving facilities and operations
will need to be transferred, reissued or issued to Eurovia SAS or one of its subsidiaries at the
time of closing. Closing is expected to occur on or about November 1, 2018. We will provid _
you notice of the closing date, once it has been determined.
Pursuant to the applicable requirements for the NPDES Permits NCG160000, NCG080000,
NCG070000, Part III, Section B general condition 2, and NCG520000 Part II, Section E general
condition 4, please find enclosed applications for the transfer of the Certificates of Coverage for
the following facilities:
