Pamlico County Dear Mr. Deaton: Reference is made to your request for rescission of the subject NPDES General Permit. Staff of the Washington Regional Office have confirmed that this Permit is no longer required, because there is no point source discharge associated with the marina. Therefore, in accordance with your request, NPDES General Permit No. NCG 190041 is rescinded, effective immediately. If in the future you wish to discharge to the State's surface waters, you must first apply for and receive a new NPDES General Permit. Discharging without a valid NPDES Permit will subject the discharger to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
