The assistance of Irvin Currin was appreciated as it facilitated the inspection process. The ST Wooten Corporation Asphalt facility discharges stormwater to receiving waters designated as Little Juniper Creek, a class C water in the Cape Fear River Basin. The following observations were made 1. Review of your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SP3) revealed the following • The plan contained the required general location map that included outfall location and drainage areas. • Employee training documents were included in SP3. Last training was 2/2011. • List of responsible parties for Emergency spill response notification • No spills were noted for the 3 year period as noted in the documentation in the manual. • Plan included Stormwater Facility Inspection reports Best Management Practices summary. • Permit was included in SP3 manual. • Narrative description of practices. • Spill prevention and response plan 2. Qualitative Monitoring has been conducted semi-annually on 4/2010, 7/2010, and 212011 as required by permit. 3. Analytical Monitoring was conducted 8/2010, 2/2011 all parameters are within benchmarks. 4. Outfall #1 was observed to be clear and free of any pollutants. Suggestion to add rip rap near drainage pipe that shows signs of erosion.
