The Division received your request for the rescission of NPDES Stormwater Permit NCG160008. A site visit
was conducted by Division staff on April 29, 2010. The Division is hereby granting a rescission of permit
NCG160008.
If conditions change such that you resume asphalt production at this location, you are obligated to
immediately obtain NPDES permit coverage for your stormwater discharge. Otherwise, the discharge
becomes subject to enforcement as an un-permitted discharge.

Dear Mrs. McPherson:
As discussed with Jim Ray on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, the asphalt plant located at US Hwy. 17 and
NCSR 1203 (Quilt Road) is no longer on that site and we have confirmed that the site is currently
vacant. We do not know exactly when the plant was removed from that site, but believe it was removed
around 2005. Since the stormwater permit is no longer needed, we formerly request that NCDENR
terminate Permit # NCG 160008.
