Inspection Summary:
I visited the site with Gary Novak. The proposed site was visited for review several years ago, however only the back area
closest to the Tar river has activity mined.
Robert Tankard of DWR has requested another wetland delination to more clearly present the areas to be buffered. With
the updated JD, more accurate buffers will be included to add protection as required.
The O&M Plan will be required to outline how the operation will be conducted so that there are no negative impacts to
wetlands or other waters of the state.
With updated informtion to better define the areas to be protected, I will have no objection to the permitting of this operation.
