RE: NCG020769 - Westside Minerals
Jen,
I just spoke to Al to reminded him of this mine. He couldn't remember specifics but he agreed that the best thing would
be to issue the permit.

Do you think we should just go ahead and issue their DWQ permit since I am guessing mostly likely they are still mining
the old part under their old DLR permit?
We will be covering the entire site under the DWQ permit but they will not be able to mine the new part until they get
their revised DLR permit.
Thanks,
Jeri

Subject: NCG020769 - Westside Minerals
Hi Branch,
I wanted to let you know that I am still waiting to issue the DWQ permit for Westside minerals because they haven't put
up their bond yet for their DLR permit (and we can't issue ours until the DLR permit is issued, and DLR can't issue theirs
until they get the bond).
Even though they can mine under the old part of the DLR permit, they are not authorized to discharge Stormwater or
wastewater until they have their DWQ permit. I just wanted to be sure that the owners knew that. If you have a
chance, if you could contact them and make sure they know that, that probably would be best.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks Branch!
