To the Division of Water Resources:
CDM Smith Inc., on behalf of Dare County (County), is submitting one copy of the Annual Stormwater
and Wastewater Discharge Monitoring Report for 2018. Samples were collected from Qutfall 1 which
serves as the outfall for both stormwater and wastewater on June 4 and December 18, 2018. Samples
were analyzed for pH, total suspended solids, suspended solids, and turbidity. All results were below
benchmark values. Please note that pH was not measured during the December sampling event due
to an oversight but will be monitored in subsequent sampling events in accordance with the permit.
