Your assistance and cooperation was very helpful and appreciated during the inspection process. I. The following observations were made during the inspection: 1. NCG020577-Barnhill Contracting Company -Jenkins Pit. As per letter dated July 9, 2009 to Wesley Brown from the Land Quality Section, the Jenkins Pit was inspected and found to be satisfactorily reclaimed. As per DWQs inspection the discharge point had been completely closed and cannot discharge to surface waters. As a result of permanent closure of the Jenkins Pit, Raleigh Regional Office concurs that Permit No. NCG020577 may be rescinded. Letter of rescintion was received by RRO on December 9, 2009. 2.
