ALL STORM DRAIN PIPE SHALL BE CLASS III REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. 2. ALL PIPE SLOPES AND LENGTHS ARE HORIZONTAL DISTANCES TO CENTER OF STRUCTURE, 3. ALL CONSTRUCTION TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL NCDOT AND SPECIFICATIONS. POND CONSTRUCTION NOTES: • SEE SHEETS C06 FOR POND CONSTRUCTION DETAILS • IF GROUNDWATER IS ENCOUNTERED DURING POND EXCAVATION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE MEANS TO REMOVE GROUNDWATER TO DEPTHS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE EXCAVATION. SITE WETLANDS NOTE: A SITE INVESTIGATION WAS PERFORMED BY MICHAEL EAKER, SENIOR SOIL SCIENTIST AND PRESIDENT FOR SOUTHEASTER SOIL & ENVIRONMENTAL ASSOCIATES, INC. THE PURPOSE OF THE INVESTIGATION WAS TO DETERMINE THE EXISTENCE AND EXTENT OF AREAS THAT EXHIBIT THE CHARACTERISTICS OF JURISDICTIONAL WETLANDS UNDER SECTION 404 OF THE CLEAN WATER ACT. ALL WETLAND DETERMINATIONS AND DELINEATIONS WERE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE 1987 US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS WETLAND DELINEATION MANUAL. NO AREAS THAT CLEARLY MEET THE 3 REQUIRED CRITERIA FOR JURISDICTIONAL WETLANDS WERE OBSERVED AT THE SITE. IT IS THE OPINION OF THE INVESTIGATOR THAT JURISDICTIONAL WETLANDS DO NOT APPEAR TO BE PRESENT ON THIS SITE.
