Sincerely, Daniel Perry, MACC City of Belmont Senior WWTP Operator / Pretreatment Coordinator 1 CITY OF BELMONT PAR 2019 COMPLIANCE SUMMARY AND WASTE REDUCTION JANUARY 1, 2019 TO DECEMBER 31, 2019 SPARTAN DYERS #0009 Spartan Dyers had 2 NOVS issued in 2019 (NO FINES ISSUED): - June 18 - 20, 25 - 26, 2019 — temperature over permit limit (self -monitoring) - July 10, 2019 — temperature over permit limit (self -monitoring) This industry has been very cooperative with the city in resolving all issues. During the summer of 2019, this industry had various equipment going out due to thunderstorms. With this being stated, it effected their temperatures they were discharging. Since this time, they have taken necessary actions to ensure they operate within their permit limits. This includes replacing faulty equipment and conducting preventative maintenance on all of their equipment such as aerators, blowers, flow meters, etc. Waste Reduction: Codes W 13, W36 Our pretreatment program is currently working with only one SIU for the year 2019. All SIU's will continue to follow our program and improve on all aspects of compliance.
