Box 18752 Raleigh, NC 27619 Dear Mr. Matree: Subject: Neuse River Basin Riparian Buffer Rules NBRRO 00-189 Matree Property Wake County On July 19, 2000, I meet with you to discuss the subject property. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 00-189. It was determined that the feature depicted on the USGS and the Wake County Soils maps is at least an intermittent stream and therefore subject to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). The area applicable to protection under the Neuse Buffer Rules extends fifty feet in all direction around the creek . This letter only addressed the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules.
