Dear Sir or Madam:
Enclosed please find Orange County's submittal package for ownership transfer of the
sewer system permit for the Efland Cheek Collection System (Efland Sewer System).
Ownership of the Efland Sewer System was transferred from Orange County to the City
of Mebane on December 2, 2018. In the interim, Orange County has been working with
the City of Mebane to formally transfer all utility easements and real property associated
with the Efland Sewer System. As of January 24, 2020, all known utility easements and
real property associated with the Efland Sewer System have been formally transferred
from Orange County to the City of Mebane via recorded transfer documents. Included
with the enclosed submittal package (in duplicate) are the completed/signed Form
PNOCF 01-16 and legal documentation of ownership transfer for the collection system,
the associated utility easements, and the associated real property.
