The Corps has reviewed your request for relief from the in-water work moratorium to allow demolition work to continue
until March 31, 2020 associated with NCDOT's project to replace Bridge No. 33 (B-4722B) over the North River in
Carteret County. (SAW-2014-01560: NW-23 -
ref: Special Condition 17)
In consultation and coordination with the appropriate resource agencies, the Corps finds your request to have merit.
As such, this transmission serves as official approval to proceed with the proposed plans and activities as described in
attached email thread. Should these plans change or be modified from the original submission, notification shall be
made to the Corps and other resource agencies to initiate review for compliance prior to implementation.
