Project Description:
Replace Bridge No 1 on SR 1349 (Ruffin St) over Linville River.
SUMMARY OF HISTORIC ARCHICTECTURE AND LANDSCAPES REVIEW

potential effects.

Description of review activities, results, and conclusions:
Review of HPO quad maps, relevant background reports, historic designations roster, and indexes was
undertaken on November 1, 2016. Based on this review there are no NR, DE, LL, SL, or SS in the
project area. There is three property built in between 1921 & 1928 north of the project area. The project
limits will not extent beyond W. Third St, indicated by the red line on the attached aerial photograph. If
future design plans exceed this limit the project must be reevaluated. No historic properties will be
affected by this project.
